• Do not perform the ultrasound procedure after radiography, gastroscopy or colonoscopy.It is not recommended to do a blood test on the day of the ultrasound study.
• Ultrasound breast examinationis recommended at 10 days of the menstrual cycle.
• Transrectal method ultrasound of the prostatedoes not require a full bladder. On the day before the procedure it is necessary to have a cleansing enema.
• Transabdominal method ultrasound of the prostaterequires a full bladder and it is necessary to not urinate for 2-3 hours before the test. An hour before the procedure, drink 1 liter of water without gas or another non-carbonated liquid.
• Ultrasound of the bladderin both men and women is done with a full bladder and it is necessary to not urinate for 2-3 hours before the test. An hour before the procedure, drink 1 liter of water without gas or another non-carbonated liquid. If there is a strong urge to urinate, there may be a partial emptying of the bladder followed by administration of a small amount of liquid before the time of the study to achieve complete filling of the bladder.
• Transabdominal methodultrasound of the uterus and appendages requires a full bladder and you should not urinate for 3-4 hours before the procedure. Drink 1 liter of water without gas or another non-carbonated liquid an hour before the procedure. On the day prior to the procedure, it is necessary to do a cleansing enema. 
• Transvaginal method Ultrasound of the uterus and appendagesis carried out with an empty bladder.
